Hirox RH-2000 3D Digital Microscope
Hirox, the pioneers of 3D digital microscopy continue to lead the field with the release of the RH-2000. It is the most advanced digital microscope on the market and includes a host of new features. These features will allow you to carry out more detailed microscopic examinations more quickly than any other instrument.
Advanced CMOS Sensor
The new CMOS sensor used in the RH-2000 can capture images at the rate of 50fps in continuous HD video (1920×1200 pixels), providing silky smooth live video. The capture rate can be increased to 100fps using Binning mode. The HD output also provides high pixel density resulting in more detail and increased measurement performance.
Dynamic Range
The advanced technology in the new CMOS also provides a much wider dynamic range. This translates into the ability to reveal greater detail in the generated images without the need for a HDR function.
High Contrast with No Digital Noise
The new camera used in the RH-2000 produces sharper images with less digital noise compared to more conventional microscopes with digital cameras. These systems encounter digital noise in live images that increases with increasing contrast levels.
Redesigned Hardware
Hirox have also redesign key hardware components. Communication connectors have been integrated into optical componentry eliminating the need for cables, creating a more elegant instrument. Similarly the camera now attaches via a bayonet mount allowing single step attachment with no additional cables required.
Computing Power
The RH-2000 can be connected to a PC-based desktop or laptop of your choice allowing you to upgrade as more powerful computers become available. This feature also allows you to take advantage of capabilities such as touchscreens. The microscope connects to the computer via high-speed USB 3.0, ensuring the fastest possible interface with transmission rates of up to 5Gb/second.
Other Features
The RH-2000 includes features from previous models that have made Hirox digital microscopes invaluable analytical and quality control tool, extending your capabilities beyond just imaging. The easy to use applications interface gives you access to features such as All-In-Focus imaging producing focussed images regardless of height, Real Time Measurement for length, angle and surface area, Auto Count/Binarisation for particle size and count and Report writing that can expert results to Microsoft Office applications.
3D Imaging and Modelling
The RH-2000 also enables quick and easy creation of 3D models. An integrated stepper motor enables you to keep the specimen in focus with the added ability to generate detailed analyses of profiles, surface areas, volumes and even roughness. This capability is extended with the ability to tile both 2D and 3D images, increasing the field of view up to 470 times.
Tailored Solutions
As with other Hirox digital microscopes, the RH-2000 can be equipped with a vast array of lenses, stages, filters and other accessories to suit your particular application from life science, to materials science, electronics or even forensics.
